Ronda Rousey made an appearance on the Wild Ride! w/ Steve-O podcast where she spoke about a wide range of topics.
During the interview, Rousey was asked about a possible WWE return, which she addressed. The former WWE Raw Women’s Champion does have an interest in coming back for another run over the course of a time period.
However, she has no intention of working a full-time schedule again. The reason for that is due to the lifestyle of working that type of schedule.
“Well, if I ever do come back it will never be at a full-time capacity ever again. I think like for stints like chunks of time you know. I'm very much like an obsessive person or I like to obsess over something for a certain time and then like kind of go take some time to obsess about something else. But no I'm never gonna be full time again over 200 days a year on the road like that ever again because it's just it was I needed to do it in order to learn and get like immersed into it and really understand what was going on but it's just not the lifestyle for me.”
Rousey had an impressive first year with WWE that started with her in-ring debut at WrestleMania 34 where she teamed up with Kurt Angle to take on Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.
She would later become one of the biggest stars that WWE had under contract. WrestleMania 35 marked her latest match as she took time off to start a family.
At the show, Becky Lynch beat Rousey and Charlotte Flair to win the WWE Raw and SmackDown Women’s Titles in a Winner Take All Match.
Rousey’s contract with WWE expires next April. You can watch the entire interview by clicking on the player below:
