It looks like WWE might be backing off the 30-day storyline suspension for Ronda Rousey. For those of you that missed it, Rousey attacked Alexa Bliss and then attacked Kurt Angle with the Money In The Bank briefcase as he tried to restrain her. Immediately after the segment, it was announced that Rousey would be suspended for 30 days. Most fans presumed that the suspension was a way to keep her off TV for a few weeks until the hype for SummerSlam started.
For whatever it's worth, Rousey is being advertised for Raw in San Diego on Monday. It could be that she will be in a dark segment but she is prominently featured in local advertising.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has confirmed with WWE that Rousey will be at Raw but there was no confirmation on if that meant she would be appearing on TV.
Rousey is also scheduled to be at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view in Pittsburgh in some capacity. Yes, that would be a few days before the end of her storyline suspension.
She has been pulled from upcoming shows taking place in Boston and Buffalo. This sound like another case of "plans change" with Vince McMahon.
