On Saturday, WWE announced the first match for Monday’s episode of their flagship show, Monday Night Raw in Oklahoma City, OK at the Chesapeake Energy Arena as it will see Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey team up with Natalya to take on title contender Sasha Banks and Bayley in a battle of best friends in a tag team match.
This episode will serve as the go-home show for the Royal Rumble that will mark the first pay-per-view event of the year for the WWE. Since the match was booked, all four stars have talked about the upcoming contest.
Natalya wrote on Twitter, “This is a bad-ass dream match and I look forward to pushing The Boss & Hug Connection to their limits. But I will not be playing the role of Dr Phil, so if everyone can please keep the four fingers down that would be great.”

Rousey took to Instagram where she wrote, “#RowdyHart VS #BossNhugConnection was just announced for #Raw this Monday! Tune in to see us make our bid for the #womenstagteamchampionship and see me give @sashabankswwe a taste of what’s coming for her at the #RoyalRumble.”

WWE released this video of Banks and Bayley talking about the match while at a live event on Saturday night.
“I don’t think Ronda was watching, but it’s kind of funny to me because she’s our champion, right?” Banks began. “She shows up when she wants to show up. But it’s alright! We’re here every single week, every single Monday Night RAW, proving what we do best. And that’s dominate. Because we are The Boss and Huge Connection, and nobody does it better than us. Do you hear that, Ronda?”
