Ronda Rousey on CM Punk leaving WWE and a possible career in WWE

Ronda Rousey talked about CM Punk, PED’s, Chael Sonnen’s drug test failure, and more in an interview with Ariel Helwani.

She talked about her thoughts on PEDs and how rampant she thinks it is in her division. She doesn’t think it’s as prevalent in her division and feels that if they need to make examples of people then it needs to be done and fighters aren’t punished enough for test failures.

She also said that she’ll think about Gina Carano after her fight this weekend.

On CM Punk:

“No one can make you have passion for something that you don’t have. I felt that way about Judo. I was over it and I didn’t want to do it anymore and regardless of how good I was at it I didn’t want to be there. If he wants to come back and find that passion again I would love to see that but if it’s time for him to move on with his life then he has 100 percent of my support as well.”

Is she planning for a WWE career?

“Well we’ll see. Its so similar to planning out fight scenes. I was just kind of messing around and doing cool moves. I thnk that WWE is the purest form of stunts kind of like the purest form of acting is theater and I feel like WWE is like the same thing for stunt work. I just kind of try to borrow from them a little bit maybe to steal some of their stunt work. If the opportunity comes up to show up and be a guest host it would be pretty cool.”

She was asked if she would do a match. She said that she has to be Alexis first this weekend before she thinks about that. She said it would be pretty cool to do a guest host spot if the opportunity came up. You can watch the video below.
