It was announced today that Ronda Rousey provided the voice for Sonya Blade on “Mortal Kombat 11” that will be released this April.
The news comes after a tease posted on Rousey’s Instagram on Wednesday.
“I’ve been a lifelong Mortal Kombat fan, and Sonya Blade was the first kick-ass, female video game character that I related to,” Rousey said in a statement. “Now I get to voice her in Mortal Kombat 11. It’s a dream come true to be a part of the Mortal Kombat franchise that I grew up playing.”
Mortal Kombat 11 will be released on April 23 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. There will be an open beta on March 28 for those that preorder the game on Playstation 4 and Xbox One.
