Ronda Rousey’s time in WWE is winding down.
As reported in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Rousey will be finishing up with WWE at WrestleMania. There was a decent amount of talk about this subject in WWE this week.
As of today, WrestleMania is the end for her in the company but if Vince McMahon feels that her match at Mania is too predictable then they could always swerve everyone and have her win and ask her to stick around for a few more weeks but as of today, the plan is for her to be done at Mania.
It’s been known for some time that she’s been wanting to start a family. It’s something she has said publicly and people in the company have always known that her run was a temporary thing.
“Soon, someday soon but I don’t know yet,” Rousey told TMZ last May about wanting to have a baby.
Everything I’ve heard about Rousey has been positive. Management likes her and she gets along with everyone. The feeling in WWE is that she would be welcome back anytime and the door is always open for her to have an occasional match at a big pay-per-view but her days on the road at live events are coming to an end.
