We’re just a couple of days away from WWE TLC and rumors are making the rounds about Braun Strowman.
The last we heard was that Strowman is scheduled to be on the show, despite WWE’s attempts to make it look like Baron Corbin will win via forfeit which would make him the permanent Raw General Manager.
There’s a rumor making the rounds today with the claim being that Strowman will not be on the show. Bryan Alvarez cleared that up today on Wrestling Observer Live. Alvarez said the following in response to someone who wrote an email saying that Strowman is off the show:
“Where did that information come from? As far as I know and as of yesterday, Braun is on the show. Braun’s working TLC. I don’t know what he’s gonna be doing. I don’t think he’s going to do a long TLC match. But Braun is going to be on the show and he may win, he may not win. The story is that Kurt Angle is going to be on Raw on Monday and Kurt Angle, of course, was sent home. If Baron Corbin loses then Kurt Angle would be a fine replacement. I know that everybody, including myself, thinks there’s a decent chance that Baron Corbin is actually going to win that match and they’ll have to do a bunch of storylines leading to Braun actually getting a shot against Brock. They have six weeks [until Royal Rumble], they have plenty of time.”
We’ll see what they have planned for Sunday but one thing is for sure…something needs to change if they want ratings to go back up and keeping Corbin as GM would not go over well with fans.
