Rumor Killer On Charlotte Flair’s WWE Status

Charlotte Flair has been sidelined for all of 2024 due to injury.

The top star tore her ACL, MCL, and meniscus in December on WWE SmackDown in a match with Asuka. The nasty moment happened as Flair did a spot in the corner, seemingly twisted when falling, and immediately grabbed her knee.

Coming out of the surgery, she has been rehabbing and documenting her progress. These types of injuries usually result in an athlete being out for 9-12 months. Flair is no different.

As previously reported by PWN, the former WWE Women’s Champion’s current timetable for return is November. There had been rumors that WWE had started making creative plans for Flair.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that she is not cleared yet, and those in “WWE believe there will still be some time before she returns to the ring as the injuries that she sustained were severe.” It was said that in February, Flair was ahead of schedule with her rehab.

A WWE source stated that until she is medically cleared, WWE will unlikely make creative plans for her.
