There is a story going around on social media that is being attributed to Dave Meltzer regarding John Cena’s WWE contract.
The claim is that Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Cena’s contract has expired so this means that he can wrestle for another wrestling company.
Meltzer never reported this and Cena has said before that he doesn’t see himself wrestling for another organization so any rumors about Cena going to AEW or New Japan Pro Wrestling are false.
Another note on Cena is that his plate is full with movie and TV offers so there is no guarantee that he will ever wrestle a full match again.
