Kevin Dunn is still a part of WWE.
On social media, rumors started going around that Dunn had departed the company, but Mike Johnson of PWInsider has shot down those rumors.
In a post this morning, Johnson noted: “Dunn’s status is 100% unchanged with the company and anyone who is claiming otherwise is 100,000% incorrect in their claims.”
Dunn has been with the company since 1984, and rose up the ranks to become Executive Producer and Chief of Global Television Distribution. He has been the producer for WWE programming since 1988.
Some fans had hoped that WWE would replace Dunne earlier this year following Vince McMahon’s resignation as Chairman and CEO as the company underwent regime changes, with Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan being named co-CEOs while Triple H took over creative.
Dunn has been blamed for the camera shaking and zooming on WWE programming over the last 10-15 years. However, there are other people in the company who are fine with this production style and believe that when Dunn leaves the company, this will not change.
