Since we’ve gotten so many emails on this subject, we wanted to address the rumors going around regarding Rusev and Lana. Simply put, the rumors are not true. A WWE source confirmed to us that they have not requested their release and the stories about an argument between Rusev and creative are not true.
Furthermore, Lana has addressed the rumors on her Twitter account:

Rusev and Lana are scheduled for this weekend’s live events in Baton Rouge, Monroe, Texarkana, and Smackdown Live in Little Rock.
UPDATE: Rusev references the fake story in a tweet (note: Road Dogg is Smackdown’s head of creative).
