We are just over a week away from WrestleMania 35 and the speculation is heating up over what will happen for some of the top matches.
It’s anyone’s guess what will happen in the Universal Championship match between Brock Lesnar and Seth Rollins. Lesnar may or may not sign a new WWE deal and if he doesn’t then that would likely mean Rollins is winning. These days, it’s nearly impossible to predict what Vince McMahon will commit to on the day of the show.
There is also speculation on how things will turn out for the Raw Women’s Championship match that is being billed as the main event.
Charlotte Flair defeated Asuka for the SmackDown Women’s Championship and, as reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the idea is to use the “Winner Take All” tagline for the match. The is idea the winner gets the title of the person she pins. That is just an idea for now and it could change in the next couple of days.
Fans on social media have been speculating that Becky Lynch would pin Ronda Rousey to become the Raw Women’s Championship. That would leave Lynch and Charlotte Flair in the ring and each of them with title belts. They would be joined by Sasha Banks and Bayley and the show would close with all of the women holding titles.
The rumor has spread like wildfire on social media but if you are one of those people hoping to see a Four Horsewomen reunion then you will have to wait until a future date.
In a post on the Wrestling Observer Forum, Dave Meltzer said that is not currently the plan for WrestleMania. He wrote, “This is not happening, well at least as not happening can be with Vince changing his mind every hour. It makes no sense with the direction they are going.”
So there you have it. With Vince McMahon changing his mind so much, it will be difficult to predict what will happen at the end of the show.
