Ryback calls on WWE stars to band together and refuse to perform

Former WWE star Ryback believes talent under contract with WWE should take a stand against the company in the wake of their latest decision regarding how they will produce their television programs.

On Friday, it was reported that instead of taping upcoming episodes of their weekly TV shows such as Raw, NXT, and SmackDown over the next week in Orlando, Florida at the WWE Performance Center, Vince McMahon has a new idea.

That idea from the WWE Chairman is to run live shows instead. This is despite the fact that most states including Florida have a stay-at-home order in place. WWE is considering themselves as essential workers, which is how they think they can get around the essential travel order.

Ryback took to his official Twitter account to make it known that he thinks WWE stars should come together and refuse to work upcoming TV events while the world deals with the coronavirus.

He wrote the following:

“Now is the time for ALL wrestling talent to stand together and refuse to perform. Nothing changes without courage and right now the world has your back like never before. Wrestling will become so much better once @vincemcmahon is out completely. So do it for your kids. @wwe.”
