Former WWE star Ryback could be on his way to Bellator MMA.
Ryback stated during an interview with X1075 in Las Vegas on Monday that he would be open to the idea of transitioning into MMA and is in talks with Bellator.
Bellator MMA CEO Scott Coker has confirmed that there have been talks but the impression being given is that they are not close on money. While Ryback has never fought professionally before, he has done some training in boxing and Jiu Jitsu.
CM Punk, who recently fought at UFC 203 against Mickey Gall and lost via first round submission, was paid $500,000 by the UFC just for the fight and got a cut of the PPV revenue. It will be interesting to see if Ryback and Bellator MMA can come to an agreement. It would need to be a really good money deal to get Ryback to sign.
