WWE announced on Wednesday night that Ryback suffered an undisclosed injury while wrestling on Raw Monday night. His Intercontinental Championship defense against The Big Show and The Miz at this Sunday’s WWE Battleground PPV is off due to the injury.
The WWE Battleground pay-per-view event takes place on July 19, 2015, at Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri. It will be the third event under the Battleground chronology. The event will be shown on the WWE Network and traditional pay-per-view outlets.
