After having a successful run in the WWE that ended once he decided to depart from the company in 2016, Ryback now works the independent circuit in addition to hosting his own podcast, Conversation With The Big Guy. During his time with the company, he held the Intercontinental Title once.
In the Q&A session with fans, the former WWE Intercontinental Champion gave his take on CM Punk and their past issues.
During Punk’s appearance on Cabana’s “Art of Wrestling” podcast from November of 2014, the former WWE Champion blasted Ryback by telling stories of him being unsafe in the ring and accused him of steroid usage.
“He has personal issues with me because his bullshit didn’t work with me. Karma dealt with him already. You would hear more stories of me hurting people if that were the case, but it simply isn’t. His steroid allegations are out of pure jealousy.
The guy has sh** genetics and can’t even get abs cutting weight with mma training. Our history is in the past and I wish him all the best out of wrestling, but his remarks were done purposely from other personal occurrences.”
