As noted, Ryback is already taking independent dates. We noted a few months ago that he trademarked the name “The Big Guy” and that is what he will be called on the independents. He will be appearing at WrestleCade in Winston-Salem in November.
Dave Meltzer reports that he is charging $4,500 per appearance in the United States and some people can get him for less if he is booked for multiple dates. Those who do not have reputations in the business are being charged $5,000. There are talks going on with him and New Japan Pro Wrestling and they are working out a price and dates for him.
Ryback has noted on social media that he is also looking at starting his own venture outside of the wrestling business. He’s launching a website and his own supplement line.
“The Big Guy” and “Feed Me More” are also trademarked by him for clothing. I have to give him credit to him for thinking about his future post-WWE. He has also trademarked “Unlimited Energy,” “Feed Me More,” “Break It Take It” and “Buffet Club.”
