Sami Zayn has been part of one of the best storylines in WWE in recent memory with The Bloodline.
Zayn became an honorary member of The Bloodline and was accepted by the members of the group, only for it to end at the Royal Rumble. Zayn was kicked out of the group when he refused to hit Kevin Owens with a steel chair and hit Roman Reigns in the back with a steel chair.
Reigns will defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Title against Zayn at the Elimination Chamber next week in Montreal.
With Zayn being a babyface again, some fans have hoped for him to bring back his original WWE main roster theme song, “Worlds Apart.”
While speaking on The Sick Podcast, this is something the fan-favorite star was asked about. He thinks it would be fitting as a one-off for the event.
“I mean, if it were going to come back, I feel like that would be the time in place to do it. I’ve said this in other interviews. I feel like it would kind of be taking a step backward. I think maybe a new song is in the cards, but I feel like that song, even though people have a real fondness for it, it seems. From a character’s perspective, it just feels like taking a step backward. At the same time, doing it for like a one-night thing in Montreal might be cool. I don’t know.”
