Sami Zayn is undergoing surgery once again. This time it’s for his left shoulder. As previously reported, Zayn is sidelined with rotator cuff injuries on both shoulders. He had been working hurt since last August but held off on getting surgery until his right rotator cuff injury.
Zayn believes he tore the right shoulder at live event in Montreal a couple of months ago. It’s the same shoulder that was injured during his debut match against John Cena and he thinks he injured it again last August in a match against Jinder Mahal. The left shoulder has been bothering him for a while and it had gotten progressively worse.
Recovery from that type of surgery can take 4 to 6 months which means that he will be out for the rest of 2019 but he could be back in time for the Royal Rumble and he should be ready to go for WrestleMania season.
All things considered, it’s good that he is getting those injuries taken care of now so he can alleviate the pain he’s been dealing with during his matches.
Who ever said bi-lateral rotator cuff surgery wasn't fun? I get to wear a gown! pic.twitter.com/VTLNvd2r1c
