The PWI 500 list is regarded as one of the best ways to gauge one’s impact in the pro wrestling business on a yearly basis. Kazuchika Okada was given the #1 spot on this year’s list and there’s a good reason for that because he’s simply amazing.
Samoa Joe was #8 on this year’s list but you won’t hear him complaining. In fact, if you’re on the list and Joe hears you complaining about your spot then he’s got a special message for you.
The Samoan Submission Machine recently tweeted out: “If in the biz & upset about your PWI ranking, schedule permitting I’ll stop by & toss a brick at your head to justify your boo boo face.”
That paints a pretty clear picture of how Joe views people who complain about their station in the business. To be honest, if you’re on the PWI 500 at all it’s a huge achievement and to get upset about your spot on the list doesn’t make you look too great, at least that’s how Samoa Joe sees it.
There’s no word on who’s name Joe might be writing on a brick just yet. But if you hear of anyone getting a brick thrown at their head anytime soon and they’re on the PWI 500, it might be a good idea to check on Joe’s whereabouts before you launch a full investigation.
