Santos Escobar To Undergo Surgery

Santos Escobar is heading back into surgery.

Escobar announced on social media that he will undergo surgery on his ulnar nerve after a complication arose during his recovery from a previous tricep procedure. He described the development as “a minor hiccup” that has now escalated into a second operation. His original return timeline had him sidelined until late summer, but with the additional surgery, his return date is now unknown.

Escobar said it kills him not to be able to take part in WrestleMania week.

The injury dates back to Escobar’s appearance at AAA Rey de Reyes, where he competed in a four-way match against OG El Grande Americano, Americano II, and LA Parka in the tournament finals. Following the event, a video showed Escobar clutching his arm before he confirmed he would be out for several months.

We wish him a speedy recovery.
