It turns out that Sarah Logan, one of just many WWE stars who were released by the company last week, was originally slated to make an appearance on Monday’s episode of Raw. However, she was pulled at the last minute.
Dave Meltzer noted on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio that the WWE star was supposed to be part of the show and was even in the script. That all changed once the show started as Logan was written off the show and not used.
During the broadcast, Logan’s name was mentioned multiple times. The commentators brought up how she took on Shayna Baszler last week and had her arm broken. Ruby Riott also mentioned her during a promo as Logan was the third member of the Riott Squad.
Meltzer also noted that she has not been rehired by the company.
Per the report, WWE’s mentality is that talent who were released but are still being paid for the next 90 days, can still be used on WWE television during that time period.
A good example of WWE’s thinking is Drake Maverick, who was released, as he is slated to compete in the upcoming NXT Interim Cruiserweight Title Tournament. Despite not being let go, the company plans to use him during this time because of the clause.
