Saraya, formerly known as Paige in WWE, has admitted to lying about the reason for her second WWE Wellness Policy violation in 2016. At the time, she claimed the failed test was due to painkillers for dental surgery, but she has now revealed that was not the case.
During a game of “Never Have I Ever” with Denise Salcedo, Saraya was candid about the incident.
“I did it publicly, talking about my drugs and stuff like that, remember that? Yeah I got f*cking, I got publicly outed for popping another drug test and I was like, it was a dental surgery and it wasn’t,” Saraya said. “I did cocaine but I f*cked up. I lied but it’s okay, sorry.”
Saraya was suspended for 30 days in August 2016 for her first violation and then for 60 days just two months later for the second. After her departure from WWE in 2022, she joined AEW and made her in-ring return. She left AEW in March of this year and has recently teased a potential return to WWE.
