Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair missed two consecutive house shows over the weekend in Charlotte, NC on Saturday night and in Columbia, SC on Sunday night. Fans in attendance were told the reason for both wrestlers not appearing at the shows was due to “unforeseen circumstances.”
Since that time, there had been a lot of speculation as to the reason they didn’t appear at the shows considering they were part of a contract signing on last Friday’s episode of SmackDown.
It was reported earlier this week that there had been concern within WWE about whether their SmackDown Women’s Title match at SummerSlam would take place as scheduled because of this.
Pwinsider.com reports both Banks and Belair are “cleared” to perform. They’re expected to be at Friday’s SmackDown and work their match at SummerSlam.
This is a rematch from WrestleMania 37 – Night One where Belair beat Banks to win the title.
