Sasha Banks wants to keep making history and has listed her goals for this year.
“The Boss” has done it all in WWE including main eventing WrestleMania as she did it in 2021 when she faced Bianca Belair, marking the first time that African-American females headlined the show and the first women's singles match to main event it.
While doing an interview with NBC Sports Boston, Banks was asked about her 2022 goals and she noted that she wants to headline a WWE show in Saudi Arabia. WWE has continued to make progress with having more women’s matches on the cards of their events in the country. This past February, they had their first Elimination Chamber event in addition to Becky Lynch defending the Raw Women’s Title against Lita.
"The rest of the year…I just want to continue to keep on shaking the table. I want to keep on making history. I think for myself, I would love to main event a pay-per-view in Saudi [Arabia]. I would love for the tag team women’s championships to be represented over there and to main event. The main event of any pay-per-view, representing these [titles] is the goal of 2022. Me and Naomi can accomplish that."
Both Banks and Naomi have competed in past Saudi Arabia events. They’re slated to defend the gold against Rhea Ripley & Liv Morgan on Monday's WWE Raw.
