There are no signs that the situation with Naomi, Sasha Banks, and WWE will be improving anytime soon. In fact, WrestleVotes reports that things are expected to get worse...at least that appears to be the feeling in WWE.
WrestleVotes tweeted, "After talking to a few people, I gather this Sasha / Naomi situation is going to get worse before it gets any better. While the majority of the support online is in their favor, its quite the opposite with management."
What this means is anyone's guess. It's possible that WWE could say that Banks and Naomi breached their contract when they walked out last Monday during Raw. If that happens, then it opens the door to a potential legal issue that could prevent both women from working in another promotion, especially if WWE freezes their contracts.
WrestleVotes' note about the lack of support backstage for the Banks and Noami mirrors recent reporting from Bryan Alvarez, Dave Meltzer, and Wade Keller. While there is support from some, the sentiment from most in the locker room is that they should not have walked out and many feel that Banks and Naomi were about to be put in a position to have big matches on pay-per-view. WWE's plan was for Naomi to challenge Bianca Belair for the Raw Women's Championship and Banks would have challenged for Ronda Rousey's SmackDown Women's Championship.
WWE announced during SmackDown that both women are indefinitely suspended and that new Women's Tag Team Champions will be crowned soon.
