RAW Women’s Champion Sasha Banks spoke with FOX Sports to promote her upcoming title defense against Charlotte at this Sunday’s WWE Hell in a Cell pay-per-view event. The two Superstars will be competing inside the Hell in a Cell structure, which will mark the first time that women have wrestled in that match.
During the interview, Banks was asked if WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley has given her advice for the match. Banks explained that she had talked him and he told her how big of a deal that this is because it has never been done before in WWE. Banks stated that Foley has tried to scare her about the match, but it comes from a fatherly place as he acts like her dad.
Banks was asked if she retains her title on Sunday night who she would like to work with next. Banks pointed out Bayley and Nia Jax. She thinks that a feud with Bayley is definitely in the cards, but it has to be at the right time. She also stated that the reason she wants to face Jax is because she brings something different in her wrestling style and that she has never worked with someone like that. Banks added that “it would be a great feud.”
Following the Hell in a Cell PPV on Sunday night, the next WWE pay-per-view event will be Survivor Series in November in Toronto, Canada. WWE is building up RAW vs. SmackDown Live traditional elimination matches. Banks was asked if there was a rivalry between the locker rooms. Banks was honest and said that she has not been keeping tabs on it but thinks that competition is healthy. She stated that she had not gotten the chance to work with Carmella yet so hopefully she can wrestle her at the upcoming Survivor Series PPV in the 5-on-5 women’s tag team elimination match.
