Sasha Banks (Mercedes Varnado) hasn’t been seen on WWE television alongside Naomi since they walked out ahead of the May 16 episode of Raw due to creative differences. A lot of things have changed since then, as Vince McMahon resigned and Triple H took over talent relations and creative.
WrestlingNews.co was the first to report that there was an agreement for Banks and Naomi to return to WWE.
While away from WWE, Banks and Naomi have been taking part in projects outside of the company, including modeling.
Banks took to her Instagram Stories on Saturday night and shared a fan-made graphic for a match between her and Stardom’s KAIRI (Kairi Sane in WWE) for the IWGP Women’s Championship.
Sasha captioned the photo with a South Park sticker that stated, ‘it’s so very interesting’. KAIRI also shared the image to Twitter.
KAIRI is a part of the tournament to crown the inaugural IWGP Women’s Champion and is slated to face off against Jazzy Gabbert in the semi-finals.
