Former WWE Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Revival are in an interesting spot right now.
It’s no secret that their contracts with WWE are slated to expire in the near future. They haven’t signed new deals and the company has shifted its focus on the tag team. Instead of booking them as serious threats, the company has decided to book them as a comedy act. For more on that, click here.
Heavy Machinery beat The Revival in a Miracle on 34th Street Match on Friday Night SmackDown.
After the match, Scott Dawson posted a photo and also wrote, “If someone tries to suplex you on a ramp, or slam you on a pile of legos, or throw you into a Christmas tree…just run away.”
Randy Orton saw the photo where he responded with, “Legos>thumb tacks. The things #topguys do to get #over @DashWilderWWE @ScottDawsonWWE.”
Dawson then admitted that, “We’re strugglin’ without ya.”
It’s been reported that despite the fact that Orton pushed a few months ago to stay in alliance with The Revival, his request was shot down as they stayed on SmackDown while Orton was sent to Raw.
