Another Steiner could be headed to WWE.
Jacksonville State University wide receiver Brock Rechsteiner has been offered a Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deal by WWE. Rechsteiner is the son of professional wrestling legend Scott Steiner.
The offer comes after a mended relationship between Scott Steiner and WWE, which seemed to thaw around the time of Steiner’s induction into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2022. Despite past differences between Scott Steiner and WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque, the deal was offered to the younger Rechsteiner. “I left with a lot of hard feelings, but, at some point, you gotta let it be,” Scott Steiner said on Busted Open Radio. “You can’t be angry the whole time. You can’t hold a grudge… I didn’t want to screw up anything for [nephew Bron Breakker], so I just buried the hatchet. Matter of fact, Hunter called me the other day, probably three weeks ago, and offered my boy an NIL Deal.”
Brock Rechsteiner has played three seasons of college football, catching 16 passes for 246 yards and two touchdowns. He is a rising senior at Jacksonville State.
As most fans know, Brock’s cousin, Bron Breakker (Bronson Rechsteiner), currently competes on WWE programming and is the reigning Intercontinental champion. Bron Breakker played football at Kennesaw State and briefly signed with the Baltimore Ravens before beginning his professional wrestling career. It looks like we could have another Steiner in WWE in the next few years if Brock decides to make the move from football.
