Sean Waltman got knee surgery done on Tuesday by Dr. Chung at the UCLA Medical Center in Santa Monica, California.
He initially shared the news in a post on Twitter and later gave some additional details in a video clip on Instagram.
The post on Twitter noted that he was looking forward to trying out the new knee once he’s done with rehab. He wrote the following:
“ACL, MCL, & Meniscus. I’ve needed it since 2007 or 08(Dont feel like looking up the exact date). Somehow I managed to still have some good matches, but it really limited me. Looking fwd to trying the new knee out when I’m done rehabbing it.”
This comes after he announced that he was cured of Hepatitis C during the Q&A portion on his podcast last month. During the same show, he mentioned that he was looking for another run and interested in working several matches in the future.
