Second episode of “Young Rock” drops in viewership after last week’s strong premiere

The premiere episode of the “Young Rock” television series made its debut last week on NBC in the 8pm EST timeslot.

The second episode aired on Tuesday night and the overnight ratings are in. The second episode did 3.483 million viewers, down from last week’s premiere episode, which garnered 5.034 million viewers.

The second episode did a 0.70 rating in the key 18-49 demographic in the overnight ratings, down from last week’s 0.90 rating.

The Rock recently posted the following on his Instagram account about the show:

“This #YoungRock news is pretty awesome and thank you guys so much for making this happen At 15yrs old I was already 6’4 220lbs with a full mustache and when I transferred schools in a different state, EVERYONE thought I was an undercover cop…and all the girls avoided me like the plague.. thanks to 21 Jump Street #YoungRock TUESDAY NIGHTS on @NBC!!!”
