Seth Rollins opened Monday’s WWE Raw from the Sames Auto Arena in Laredo, Texas, and addressed recent events with Bron Breakker, who cost Rollins his match against Gunther at WrestleMania 42 and attacked him with multiple spears on last week’s Raw.
Breakker interrupted the segment, accompanied by Paul Heyman. Breakker, who has been aligned with The Vision alongside Logan Paul and Austin Theory, confronted Rollins directly in the ring. Last week, Rollins had attacked Breakker with a steel chair before The Vision’s numbers game took over, with the Street Profits ultimately returning to even the odds.
The two engaged in a back-and-forth promo exchange. Breakker told Rollins that he is the best wrestler in the world at being number two. Breakker also performed an impression of Rollins during the exchange.
Rollins responded by referring to Breakker as “baby Steiner” and stating, “You’re not even number two in your own family.” Rollins then challenged Breakker to a singles match at WWE Backlash, which takes place on May 9 at the Benchmark International Arena in Tampa, Florida.
The confrontation continued with both men trading additional lines before the segment concluded, setting the stage for their matchup at the premium live event.
WWE Raw airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on Netflix.
