Seth Rollins comments on controversial Hell in a Cell match finish

Universal Champion Seth Rollins has broken his silence on the controversial Hell in a Cell match finish that he was part of against Bray Wyatt.

The contest ended by referee stoppage at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view event in Sacramento, California at the Golden 1 Center. This is where Rollins hit Wyatt in the head with a sledgehammer.

Rollins responded to a fan who brought up how a Falls Count Anywhere stipulation for their match at Crown Jewel could end in a DQ just like their Hell in a Cell match. Rollins corrected the fan.

Rollins wrote, “Correction: it ended in a ref stoppage. When a body isn’t moving, the official has to make the right call.”

Rollins also commented on the famous Hell in a Cell match between The Undertaker and Mick Foley.

“I imagine Mick and Taker might have liked the ref to stop the match there. Might have added a few more years to Mick’s incredible career. Just a thought.”
