Seth Rollins fires back at fan claiming he looks down on indie wrestling

Seth Rollins spent a lot of time on the independent wrestling scene as Tyler Black. After making a name for himself in ROH, he signed with WWE in 2010.

A fan on Twitter commented on a clip of the triple threat match at a 2008 ROH show featuring Rollins, Bryan Danielson, and Kenny Omega.

The fan wrote, “Might be an unpopular opinion but I feel like Seth looks down upon indy wrestling these days although that’s where he’s come from and what gave him his first shot.”

Rollins saw the tweet and fired back with, “I train up and coming independent wrestlers at my school…that I’ve owned and operated for nearly a decade. Not only do I NOT look down on the indies, but I actively support them with my time and effort. I’ll stand for a lot of malarkey on this app, but don’t cross that line.”

Rollins does co-own his Black & Brave Wrestling Academy along with his former tag team partner Marek Brave.

The wrestling school has produced several wrestlers since launching including Nathan Frazer (Ben Carter), who worked a few matches for AEW before signing with WWE and being placed on the NXT UK roster.
