Seth Rollins has provided a promising update regarding his recovery from a shoulder injury. Appearing on The Rich Eisen Show, the former World Heavyweight Champion revealed that his rehabilitation is progressing as planned.
“We’re on track,” Rollins said. He noted that he recently reached a significant milestone in his recovery process. “I got the brace off like last week, middle of last week. It’s nice to walk around like a regular person”.
Addressing The Skepticism
During the interview, Rollins addressed the elephant in the room regarding the legitimacy of his condition. Many fans have questioned if the injury is a storyline, given that Rollins successfully faked a knee injury earlier this year to lull CM Punk into a false sense of security before cashing in his Money in the Bank contract at SummerSlam. Rollins insisted that this time, the situation is real. “I know there’s a lot of skepticism in your question, but you can consult my surgeon,” Rollins stated.
Current Status
Despite the severity of the issue, the “Visionary” remains in high spirits. “I’m feeling alright, it’s nice to be able to get around without the brace, I’ll say that, but we’re on track,” he told Eisen. Rollins has been out of action since October, following a series of events that saw him injured during a match against Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel and subsequently betrayed by his “The Vision” stablemates, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, on Raw.
Upcoming Schedule
The timing of Rollins’ potential return remains a major talking point as WWE approaches its busiest season. The company is currently building toward Saturday Night’s Main Event, which is scheduled to take place on Saturday, December 13, at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. Following that event, the focus will shift to the Royal Rumble in January, kicking off the road to WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas.
