WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins is injured.
According to a report from PWTorch.com’s Wade Keller and backstage sources in the company, Rollins suffered a left leg injury during the World Title match with Jinder Mahal. Rollins was helped to the back after the match. The good news is that he was able to put weight on it when he got backstage and he was walking under his own power but he was limping.
If you watched the show, it was clear at the end of the match that there was concern from Rollins because he knew that he was hurt. While it’s not clear when the injury happened, you could see him favoring his leg after he did a dive at ringside onto Mahal. Rollins continued the match and then defeated Mahal to retain his title.
Again, the good news is that he was able to put weight on his leg and that would suggest that it’s nothing that will keep him out for several months. We’ll have more answers when he gets evaluated.
