Earlier this year, former WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns announced that he is once again battling leukemia. As a result, Reigns relinquished the Universal Title and has taken a leave of absence from WWE. He is currently spending time with his family and focusing on his health. Not many updates on Reigns have been made available since his departure, but his Shield brother, Seth Rollins, has just provided one.
Rollins was recently on Fox 2 News to promote next week’s New Years episode of Monday Night Raw. During his appearance, “The Architect” had an interaction with a young fan who asked for an update on Reigns. Rollins said Reigns is doing great and recently spent the holiday with his family. He’s simply focused on getting healthy and remains in good spirits:
“Roman’s doing great. Obviously, he spent the holiday home with his family and he’s doing really good. He’s in a good position. He’s primed to make a comeback, hopefully sometime sooner, rather than later, but at the end of the day, he’s just focused on getting healthy right now. I will say he’s doing good, good spirits.”
