Seth Rollins responds to “embarrassing” historic low RAW viewership numbers

Monday Night Raw has received a lot of criticism in recent weeks. A few weeks ago fans were calling that Monday’s episode of Raw one of the worst in recent memory. Prior to this week, Vince McMahon had completely rewritten the past two weeks of Raw himself, just hours before the show.

However, this week’s episode of Raw took a big hit in ratings, turning in yet another record low. Ratings dropped majorly over the three hours of the program:

The three hours were (via F4WOnline):

  • 8 p.m. 2.35 million viewers
  • 9 p.m. 2.19 million viewers
  • 10 p.m. 2.05 million viewers

F4WOnline’s Bryan Alvarez called the news “embarrassing” on Twitter. This prompted a response from WWE Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins. Here’s what “The Architect” had to say:

“That’s the one thing I don’t think people understand. 5 hours of live TV every week. EVERY WEEK. Add in all the extraneous variables that affect the final outcome….and it’s a modern miracle that the shows come together as well as they do.”
