Seth Rollins reveals when he found out he’d be cashing-in his MITB at WrestleMania 31

WWE Superstar Seth Rollins recently did an interview with news.com.au to promote WWE’s upcoming Super Show-Down in Australia.

During the interview, Rollins divulged a lot about his Money In The Bank cash-in at WrestleMania 31. The show was being main evented by Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns for the WWE Championship. Rollins came out near the finish and cashed-in his MITB briefcase, making the bout a Triple Threat.

He subsequently hit Reigns with a Curb Stomp for the three count and the win. Rollins revealed that he didn’t find out about his cash-in until after his match with Randy Orton, which took place earlier on the card that same night:

“I didn’t know for sure until the middle of the show (it was happening),” said Rollins. “I had a match with Randy Orton early in the day and then I was sequestered backstage and informed that would be the plan at the end of the night. It honestly was a very last-minute thing.”

At the time of the main event, the WWE’s PPV time was running out and Rollins was worried the historical moment wasn’t going to get a chance to transpire:

“We were getting close to having to get off the air, so maybe it wouldn’t have happened,” said Rollins. “I was glad I didn’t tell anyone and have that bad luck or that I had jinxed himself.”
