Last night during WWE SmackDown when it was announced that Seth Rollins vs. Omos was added to Backlash, that caught a lot of fans by surprise because there was no backstory to explain why the match was made.
While it was common for random matches to be added to pay-per-view cards in the 80s and 90s, these days WWE likes to attach a storyline to every big match.
Last night was the exception to that and Seth Rollins seems to be surprised by the news as well. Check out his reaction below. There’s still one more Raw left before Backlash so we might get a story started this Monday night to add some steam to the match.
