Seth Rollins: The Rock Has Been Saying A Lot Of Really Dumb S**t Over The Last Month

Fans are just a few weeks away from one of the biggest WrestleMania events in recent memory in the way of WrestleMania 40, with WWE booking big matches with big-name talent in the main events of both nights on April 6th and 7th.

The Rock & Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes & World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins is slated to headline night 1. On the following night, Reigns defends the Undisputed WWE Universal Title against Cody Rhodes, while Rollins defends his World Title against Drew McIntyre.

Rhodes and Rollins worked the house show loop this weekend and went over The Bloodline in the headliner. Rollins grabbed the microphone after Sunday’s show in Rockford, IL, and cut a promo about The Rock’s claim about how wrestling is cool again. In a heel way, he took credit for making it that way to get more heat as “The Final Boss.”

Rollins fired back in storyline when he said, “The last few weeks the biggest star in Hollywood has returned to the WWE. And man, he’s said a lot of really dumb shit.”

Rollins continued after he apologized for his language. “We got to be real, right? That’s The Rock’s thing. We got to be real. There are no standards and practices here in Rockford. So you wanna know what’s real? All the dumb shit The Rock’s been saying over the last month, the worst thing that I’ve heard is he is taking credit for making professional wrestling cool.”

Rollins said that it was due to current wrestlers’ hard work and the fans’ support. Rhodes grabbed the mic and echoed Rollins’ feelings about why the product is where it’s at.
