Seth Rollins will not wrestle in 5 vs 5 match at WWE Crown Jewel

A couple of weeks ago on Monday Night Raw, it was announced that Seth Rollins would be the team captain for Hulk Hogan’s team at the Crown Jewel pay-per-view in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Hogan’s team will face Ric Flair’s team at the pay-per-view.

However, it was announced this week that Rollins would be defending the Universal Championship against “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt in a rematch from Hell in a Cell in a Falls Count Anywhere match.

There are no plans for Rollins to wrestle twice on the show. Dave Meltzer reported today that Rollins is no longer scheduled for the Team Hogan vs. Team Flair match and his removal from the match will likely be addressed soon.

This is the latest example of some of the plans changing in WWE because Vince McMahon has decided to go in another direction.
