Becky Lynch and Drew McIntyre are not the only WWE stars who will have to make a big decision regarding their futures, as Seth Rollins will have to decide whether he wants to stay with WWE or test out the free agent market.
2023
Rollins became the face of the WWE Raw brand after winning the World Heavyweight Title at Night of Champions by beating AJ Styles.
He has since defended the title against the likes of Damian Priest, Bron Breakker, Finn Balor at Money in the Bank & SummerSlam, and Shinsuke Nakamura at Payback & Fastlane. At Survivor Series last month, he worked the Men’s WarGames match. He’s expected to wrestle CM Punk in the future.
The future
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that the World Heavyweight Champion’s deal with the company is up in June. As of a few weeks ago, the two sides have yet to start talks to extend it.
Rollins is said to be well-liked and respected within the company, making it pretty clear that WWE will offer him a new deal, but the question remains what Rollins wants to do and whether the terms of the deal can be reached.
Considering his standing in the company, WWE signing him to a new deal would be a priority for the company. Lynch’s deal with the company is also up in June.
