WWE Raw General Manager Adam Pearce has announced several major additions to the lineup for this Monday’s episode of Raw, which takes place in Providence, Rhode Island. The newly announced matches add significant depth to what is shaping up to be a packed show ahead of the Evolution premium live event.
New Bouts Revealed
In a video released on social media Sunday, Adam Pearce confirmed a trio of matches for the broadcast.
“Newly crowned Women’s tag team champion Roxanne Perez goes one-on-one with Kairi Sane, and in a rematch from SummerSlam Sami Zayn one-on-one with Bron Breakker,” Pearce announced. “And I ain’t done cooking, Big Bronson Reed will go toe-to-toe on Monday in Providence against Main Event Jey Uso.”
First-Time Match and Evolution News
In addition to Pearce’s announcements, WWE also confirmed a first-time-ever dream match via its Instagram account, as Seth Rollins is scheduled to go one-on-one with Penta. This will be the first time the two highly-acclaimed superstars have ever faced each other.
Pearce also used his announcement to confirm a major championship match for the upcoming all-women’s Evolution premium live event on Sunday, July 13. He announced that Becky Lynch will defend her Intercontinental Championship against both Bayley and Lyra Valkyria in a triple threat match. He further noted that Lynch will appear live on Raw tomorrow night to address her two challengers and the historic match.
Monday Night Raw airs live tomorrow, July 7, at 8 p.m. ET on Netflix. The updated card for the show is as follows:
