WWE NXT Superstar Kiana James is reportedly garnering significant praise from within the company, with expectations of a notable push once she returns from injury.
According to a new report from Cory Hays of Bodyslam.net, James’s dedication during her rehabilitation has caught the attention of influential figures in WWE. Hays stated on X (formerly Twitter):
“Several within WWE are very high on Kiana James. Her work ethic and dedication during rehab caught the eyes of a few and I’d expect her to get a push in the next year once she returns.”
James has been out of action since June 2024 due to a significant leg injury, later confirmed to be a knee injury requiring surgery. Her last televised match was on the June 17, 2024, edition of Monday Night Raw, where she competed in a triple-threat Money in the Bank qualifying match against Iyo Sky and Zelina Vega.
Reports of James’s injury first surfaced around September 2024, with an expected recovery timeline of at least six months.
