Several Upcoming WWE Raw & NXT Episodes To Air On SYFY

Due to the Olympics, WWE is slated to be preempted by Monday Night Raw and NXT several times over the next month.

This happens every four years with Raw, although that will change in 2025 when they go to Netflix. Meanwhile, NXT moves to The CW in the fall, as the games are covered on several NBCUniversal networks, including the USA Network.

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that “Raw and NXT will be moved to Syfy during the Olympics. It will be four shows, Raw on 7/29, NXT on 7/30, Raw on 8/6 and NXT on 8/7.”

Things already announced for Monday’s Raw include Drew McIntyre’s return, World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest & Gunther face-to-face, and Sheamus vs. Bronson Reed. The company will also continue to build toward SummerSlam.

For next week’s NXT, they’ve announced NXT North American Champion Oba Femi defending against Duke Hudson, The Rascalz (Wes Lee, Zachary Wentz & Trey Miguel) vs. Gallus (Mark Coffey, Joe Coffey & Wolfgang), and Brooks Jensen vs. Je’Von Evans.
