Several WWE NXT Stars Backstage At Tonight’s SmackDown

The presence of the WWE NXT brand may be felt on tonight’s episode of SmackDown from New York, NY, at Madison Square Garden.

WWE has already confirmed Jade Cargill vs. Tiffany Stratton vs. Candice LeRae and Naomi vs. Blair Davenport vs. Indi Hartwell in Women’s Money in the Bank qualifying matches. There will also be Logan Paul vs. LA Knight vs. Santos Escobar in a Men’s Money in the Bank qualifying match.

Finally, WWE has confirmed a Bloodline acknowledgment ceremony for Jacob Fatu. This will be the second-to-last episode of SmackDown before next week’s Money in the Bank PLE. For the NXT brand, they’re building towards the Heatwave PLE that takes place next Sunday night, also in Toronto.

PWInsider.com reports that Nathan Frazer, Wes Lee, and Joe Coffey are some of the WWE NXT talents backstage at tonight’s show. There may be others, but it has not been confirmed who as of now.
