Also, Dave Meltzer reported that Tony Nese was injured in the segment on Monday Night Raw when the brawl broke out with the rest of the cruiserweights that were booked for that segment.
Also, as we noted on the site, Darren Young was in Birmingham this week to undergo elbow surgery. There’s no word on a return timetable. The doctor that is working on his elbow also worked on his knee 3 years ago. The surgery probably means that he will be off WrestleMania. He wasn’t slotted for a significant role on the show but he would likely have been one of the guys included in the Andre The Giant battle royal.
