Several WWE stars will become free agents this week

After waiting on the sidelines for months, those who were let go by WWE back in April are slated to officially hit the free agent market.

Due to the financial impact of the coronavirus on WWE despite the company expected to hit their all-time record for revenue this year, the company felt that they needed to make cuts by letting go of some of its talent and staff.

NXT stars who were released have already seen their non-compete deals with WWE expire. However, the main roster talent who were let go have had to wait until July 15.

Come this Wednesday, those released are free and clear legally to sign with any promotion they choose.

Impact Wrestling has been teasing the possibility of some WWE stars joining the company. In fact, a former World Champion has been teased to appear at Saturday’s Slammiversary.  It’s been reported that Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson have already agreed to terms with Impact.
